Simbiosis Mutualisme Antara Masyarakat dan Negara Melalui "Jogo Tonggo" dan Peran Dalam Pembangunan Daerah

               Di dalam masyarakat dan negara terdapat sebauh sistem yang mana biasanya ada keterkaitan satu sama lain dan itu saling mempengaruhi. Hal ini terjadi karena adanya sebuah kecenderungan didalam proses bermasyarakat bernegara yaitu saling ketergantungan. Didalam ketergantungan tersebut maka akan terjadi sebuah simbiosis yang terkadang akan berbeda ketika input yang diberikan dan output yang dihasilkan. Tetapi ada kalanya didalam hubungan antara masyarakat sipil dan negara dapat memberikan simbiosis mutualisme yang baik untuk progres kedepan. Kalo kita kaitan melalui pendekatan perspektif bahwa masyarakat sipil dan negara adalah sebuah entitas yang berbeda maka kita dapat lebih mengetahui gejala yang akan ditimbulkan salah satunya yaitu dengan terbukanya ruang demokrasi yang begitu besar. Problem dan Konflik Rasisme di Indonesia (Isu Rasisme Etnis Tionghoa)

  Kerusuhan Mei 1998 merupakan masa kelam bangsa Indonesia dan dunia. Kejadian tersebut merenggut lebih dari seribu jiwa penduduk keturunan Tionghoa di Indonesia dan merusak ribuan rumah dan toko yang dimiliki keturunan Tionghoa di Indonesia, dan lebih dari seratus wanita keturunan Tionghoa diperkosa dalam beberapa hari selama tragedi itu berlangsung. Aksi tersebut tentunya menyita perhatian yang cukup besar terutama dalam kancah perpolitikan yang ada di Indonesia. Hal ini ini merpakan salah satu bentuk respon dari adanya krisis moneter dan finansial yang melanda Indonesia pada saat itu.
